YOUTH REVOLVING FUND SCHEME


The Nasarawa State Human Capital Development Office under the Chairmanship of the Deputy Governor His Excellency Dr. Emmanuel Akabe in conjunction with Bank of Industry wishes to present the YOUTH REVOLVING FUNDS SCHEME.

As a fall out of the Employability and Entrepreneurship Program by the Nasarawa State Government through its Human Capital Development Office, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A Sule, has graciously approved the sum of N500m for a YOUTH REVOLVING FUNDS SCHEME.

The Scheme, which is a collaboration between the state Government and Bank of Industry (BOI) is a “Matching Fund” agreement where the State Government provides 50% of the total sum, which in this case N250m and BOI matches the funds with another 50% which is also N250m totaling N500m.

Beneficiary requirement are as follows:

  • Age: 18 – 40 years 
  • Existing business
  • Registered company
  •                   Two (2) Guarantor: Should have two (2) guarantor, one (1) a top level Civil Servant (not less than Assistant Director and the other a Political Office Holder (not less than an Senior Special Assistant).
  • Mentor organization: (Potential beneficiaries would have added advantage if they belong to associations or cooperative societies).

Entrepreneurship Training Certificate: (Potential beneficiaries who present certificates of training on entrepreneurship and other related fields will have added advantage).

  • Potential beneficiaries would be considered upon successful completion of a 3-tier screening exercise viz at proposal level; viability check, including physical assessment; and business pitch/presentation.
